Expression cassette: Cassette biểu hiện, bao gồm promoter + ORF + terminator (nếu ở eukaryote)
Nguồn gốc của chữ cassette này (nếu mà tra từ điển thì chẳng có nghĩa gì ngoài cát sét của mình hay nghe nhạc) là từ gene cassette (trích Wikipedia:

Thank bác nhiệt tình chỉ bảo! Em cũng đoán là thuật ngữ có thể phải giữ lại từ "cassette", nhưng mà không dám chắc.
