Job Description
1. General work related duties :
Trait Strategy Development:
• Conceptualize Trait Launch in VN and build Strategic plan with immediate and long term focus
• Market research and analysis to have clear understanding of segmentation for trait and farmer requirements
• Develop Scenarios of trait acceptance and market projection for short and long term
• Lead Trait pricing and value capture models, including farmer pricing and transactional pricing
• Propose germplasm and trait portfolio in alignment with licensing, chemistry and distribution model
• Develop positioning strategies and business models so as to meet Trait branded business objectives
Develop and lead and Implement trait launch campaign plan
• Trait launch campaign to deliver targets of soft launch (ground breaker) and commercial launch
• Coordinate with other departments and functions in country/AP region ( Technology Development, Regulator Affairs, Corporate Engagement, Breeding, Supply chain ) on commercial registrations, external and internal stakeholder engagement related to trait launch
• Develop GM training materials for commercial use based on technical content by TD;
• Conduct train-the-trainer training for sales team and customized trainings for other stakeholders in channel or market
• Implement Trait Launch campaigns which include - Market Research, brand communication, Creative development, develop POSM materials, seed bag label etc.
• Getting early feedbacks from farmers and stakeholders to make sure that strategy is on track or to propose tactical action/strategic adjustment if necessary
• Develop appropriate metrics to evaluate the success of the launch campaign and review plans based on the feedback
2. Environment, Health, Safety and Compliance
• To adhere to the safety policies of Monsanto by timely reporting of incidents/injuries
• Always adhere to the Business code of conduct and compliance policies in Monsanto
3. Miscellaneous responsibilities
• Work on projects with people across categories depending on the requirement
Job Requirements
1. Postgraduate in Science/ Biotechnology or engineering; specialization in sales and marketing is desired
2. 5- 6 years of experience in Project Management or leading cross functional projects
3. Proven performance and standard track record across years
4. Strong relationships and networking capability with external and internal stakeholders
5. English communication skills and ability lead teams
